The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) issued Lead and Copper Rule Revisions (LCRR) in 2021. The LCRR requires water systems to prepare and maintain an inventory of service line materials. Powdersville Water (PW) submitted an initial inventory list to the South Carolina Department of Environmental Services (DES)  before the LCRR deadline of October 16, 2024.

 Water systems are also required to make the inventory available to the public upon request. Please contact our Customer Service Team at (864) 269-5440 (option 4) to request data from the current inventory which can be provided in either digital or paper copy.
