About Powdersville Water
Powdersville Water is a special purpose district of South Carolina that has been chartered by the Secretary of State to serve drinking water to portions of Anderson and Pickens counties. We operate as a non-profit community water system under the direction of a nine member board and staffed by an accomplished team of professionals. We are dedicated to serving our customers in the most efficient manner with high quality drinking water.
Mission Statement
The mission of Powdersville Water is to provide a safe and dependable supply of drinking water to the community, and to all customers within our service area. In providing this service, we seek to provide abundant and affordable drinking water in a manner that promotes efficient and reliable service.
Awards
Powdersville Water was recognized nationally this past year for their diligent work in optimizing their system operations. We are the only system in South Carolina and the eleventh in the country to receive this award.
